A federal judge has blocked Donald Trump’s attempt to ban transgender people from serving in the military. The ruling was only a partial victory, as the court upheld a block on insurance payouts for transition-related treatments.

The Federation of Gay Games has announced that Hong Kong has won the bid to host the 2022 event. It’s the first time the games have gone to Asia, with the city beating Washington DC and Guadalajara in Mexico.

Organisers of Johannesburg Pride have countered accusations of elitism, lack of disabled access and bias towards gay white men. Saturday’s event attracted the most diverse crowd ever according to organiser, Kaye Ally.
